National Strike on November 19, 2015 – Media coverage

Thousands of contracted out airport workers from the nation’s seven busiest hubs in New York, Newark, Boston, Philadelphia, Fort Lauderdale and Chicago went out on strike yesterday and their action had impact! The multi-city strike, the first-of-its-kind for airport workers, has elevated the narrative about contracted airport workforce at the national level. News outlets, such as USA Today, Washington Post, Reuters, Newsweek, NBC Today Show, PBS and CNN reported on the strike. Nationally, the strike garnered 1,700 + TV and Radio Clips.
